Brief description of the project and main objectives
It is to support SMEs serving in the food and beverage industry to improve product quality and safety, to develop R&D based product / production technology, and to increase their competitiveness in international and national markets.

Achievements / expected outputs
Creating a communication network and clustering platform for all actors in the food and beverage industry
Establishment the Food Innovation Center consisting of an advanced food safety laboratory and pilot facility and regional laboratories and systems
Establishment of an innovative pilot scale hazelnut drying facility and food test / analysis laboratory using renewable energy sources in Giresun within the scope of regional laboratories and systems
Improving pistachio processing conditions by establishing a fully equipped, pilot scale processing line for Pistachio in Gaziantep.
Establishing a food laboratory in Şanlıurfa where microbiological and chemical analyzes are carried out.
Establishing and developing infrastructures that will increase research and innovation capacity in the food sector, developing and commercializing innovative products
