Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA)

IPA is a financial instrument in aid of candidate and potential candidate countries in the EU accession process. Click here for detailed information about IPA. The following 4 priority areas have been identified for the IPA period 2021-2027.

EU PROGRAMMES

European Union Programmes are projects and programs supported by the Union budget and contributions paid by the participating countries in order to promote cooperation between the EU Member States and candidate countries on matters in support of Union policies.

    As part of its authorised as “National Coordinator for Pre-Accession Assistance” (NIPAC) and its holistic approach to EU funds, the Directorate for EU Affairs has established an initiative called IPA Academy, or “IPAdemi”, to coordinate training activities under IPA under one roof in 2022.
